Submission Status: Open

Welcome to Northern Lake Publishing LLC (NLP), a publisher of digital, text-based content with proven audience demographics. In simpler terms, we publish ebooks in popular genres.

Begun in March 2018, NLP embraces a modern approach to publishing, while not sacrificing quality on the altar of convenience. In a time when thousands of new books are published daily and the market is awash with reader choices, NLP believes story and craft should still take center stage.

NLP Is Accepting Submissions

Northern Lake Publishing is now open for submissions. Our publishing and marketing is focused on creating and supporting an author brand, not just one-off books that sit and gather dust on the digital shelves. This is not to say we publish books only in series form, simply that we endeavor to connect authors and readers in measurable and ongoing ways.

  • Entertaining fiction with clearly defined goals and objectives.
  • Relatable main characters with a developed supporting cast.
  • Stories in a clearly defined genre.
  • At least 40,000 words.
  • Under 90,000 words.

NLP Signs Lyn Horner

Lyn Horner resides in Fort Worth, Texas with her husband and several very spoiled cats.

Trained in the visual arts, Lyn worked as a fashion illustrator and art instructor before she took up writing. She loves crafting passionate love stories, both historical and contemporary. Lyn also enjoys reading, gardening, visiting with family and friends, and cuddling her furry, four-footed children.

The author’s Texas Devlins series blends authentic Old West settings, steamy romance and a glimmer of the mysterious. This series has earned multiple awards and nominations, including Crowned Heart reviews and a Rone Award nomination from InD’Tale Magazine.
